Built to a very high standard with excellent materials, proven by the beautiful tight grained douglas fir planking that was chosen for the planking and other elements of the build. Built with a lug rig, the current owners had built a gunter sloop rig to the original Gartside design so the boat comes with 2 separate rigs, both complete and ready to go. the Skylark is an interesting design with a wide beam that is carried a long way aft to give excellent buoyancy and stability. complete with a fitted all over cover and galvanised road trailer.
