Designed as a fast day sailing boat with performance in mind, she has carbon fibre spars for her gunter rig, a lightweight cold moulded hull and twin centreboards to help upwind performance. The cockpit is vast and able to seat 8 adults comfortable while sailing. The small accommodation space under the coachroof can sleep 2 for an overnight adventure but also gives a sheltered space for young crew. A very interesting and exciting boat to sail, in nice condition, on a good road trailer and ready to go.

Unusually she has bronze chainplates and keel bolts as her commissioning owner ran a bronze foundry. GRP Folkboat built to the Nordic lines by Abbotts Boats of Canada in 1968. She differs slightly from the true Nordic Folkboat with an extended coachroof giving more space in the forecabin, inboard Beta 10hp diesel with a Darglow feathering propeller and extra shrouds on the Z-Spars alloy mast for added support. Very nice condition fitted out with varnished mahogany in the cabin and cockpit. Raymarine chartplotter, autopilot and nav systems, Eberspacher cabin heater and all Harken deck gear. Nordic Folkboat built in Poland in 1963. A pretty boat that has retained the sleek design of the Scandinavian boats with low topsides and an unobtrusive and well proportioned coachroof. Interior space is limited but her looks more than make up for this. Professionally rebuilt in 1999 with all new laminated ribs, new deck, coachroof and cockpit. The Glen Class was designed by Alfred Mylne and most of them were built in Bangor, Northern Ireland. It was a competitive fleet and there are still 25 boats racing in Strangford Lough and Dublin Bay. This boat was bought by the p[resent owners as a complete wreck and destined for the chainsaw. The hull was rebuilt, new frames where necessary and totally re-fastened and a new deck and deck structure fitted plus new interior. The rig is not to the original plans having been replaced by a previous owner after a dismasting! Lovely smart yacht on a brand new road trailer, ready to go sailing.

Rebuilt over 16 years in previous ownership with a new bermudan ketch rig on alloy masts. Present owners have updated the systems and used her as a cruising home for the last 18 months with a voyage from Scotland to southern Spain.
